Basic concepts of statistics. Frequently distribution measure of location, measures of variation. Probability distribution, normal and binominal distribution. Histograms, means, mode and median. Sampling techniques, data collection; data processing technique, biological data, statistical inference. Tests of significance: F-test, chi-square, analysis of variance, analysis of Co-variance, correlation and regression analysis. Goodness of fit. Research objectives.
